Applying for funding for an exchange visits
Criteria for short-term visits:
- Duration of up to 15 days
- Work must be related to the MOLTER programme
- Mainly directed at senior researchers
- Stay is in a country other than the country of origin (contributing countries preferred)
- Accompanying documents:
- description of the proposed work (ca. 250 words) and aim of the visit
- applicant’s CV (two A4 pages)
- full address details of the prospective host
- proposed starting date
- estimated travel costs
Applications for short-term visits can be submitted online via the ESF application form.
Criteria for long-term exchange visits:
- Duration from 15 days to six months
- Work must be related to the MOLTER programme
- Mainly directed at PhD students and young researchers
- Stay is in a country other than the country of origin (contributing countries preferred)
- Accompanying documents:
- description of the proposed work (ca. 1000 words) and aim of the visit,
- applicant’s CV (two A4 pages),
- list of five recent publications,
- letter of recommendation (e.g. applicant’s supervisor), 5) letter of acceptance from the host institution,
- full address of the prospective host,
- proposed starting date,
- estimated travel costs
Applications for long-term exchange visits can be submitted online via the ESF application form.
Researchers benefitting of a travel/exchange visit grant are required to return to their home institution after completion of their stay.
